The main goal of JCB in competition is to provide a fun and challenging experience while maintaining proper technique. The competitions provide a venue by which to learn to improve in a positive setting. It is important that both the student and parent understand it is a commitment to a team. Individuals must be willing to work hard and push for their personal best.

Joining the team
Auditions
Competitive Auditions and Assessments can be arranged year round. Please reach out if you are interested in auditioning for the JCB Competitive Company. Auditions are designed like a class in which the students are put through a variety of steps and combinations relevant to their age and ability. The atmosphere is fun and the experience is positive. Competitive Team Requirements
Full Time Comp. Co.
2 RAD classes per week, 1 Jazz technique per week, if assessed and competing in acro or tap: 1 technique of this discipline per week.
Part Time Comp. Co.
1 Ballet and Jazz Technique class per week, if assessed and competing in acro or tap: 1 technique of this discipline per week
Routines
Students are put into routines that best suit their abilities. Age averaging is how routines will be divided at the competition, ( all ages added and then divided by the number in the group).
Competitions
Competitive team will attend 3-4 local (driving distance) competitions per season
